An operational incident occurred at Laphroaig Distillery on Wednesday evening relating to the boiler, which produced a loud noise and resulted in a short-term impact to the system operation. 

Our Visitor Centre at Laphroaig was temporarily closed on Thursday 20th to allow for a full and thorough assessment, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our staff and site prior to re-opening the Visitor Centre as normal on Friday 21st.
